Fantastic - exceeded the website expectations. Stunning setting, wonderful apartment with everything anyone could wish for. Great BBQ. Fantastic pool and best poolside bar in the world. The walk up the big hill opposite is highly recommended and hopefully will make it to the top of Steve’s "to-do" list one day.

Mutley was a wonderful companion even if we did have to drive her back from town!

In ’Finca la Mariposa’ we have found just what we were looking for, that is: A WONDERFUL PLACE, NATURE, PEACE....Besides, the panoramic pool and all what you can see around...JUST LIKE A "REAL DREAM"!!

We visited many amazing places and sometimes we come back very late but...ALWAYS WE COULD RELAX OURSELVES IN THE FANTASTIC JACUZZI - GREAT!

Tania and Steve,

Greeted warmly on our arrival and felt that nothing was too much trouble throughout our stay. The apartment is superbly designed and cooking was a joy in the well appointed kitchen.

Dave was particularly grateful when Tania made the deep end of the pool accessible ! Jo was especially taken with the honesty bar - a really great idea.

Many thanks for helping us relax into our summer holiday 2011.

It was lovely to meet you at last and begin the process of joining you in this idyllic countryside permanently some day.

We are very lucky to have had glorious weather although the pool is still a tad chilly! We did enjoy the hot tub which was just as good(if not better!)

We have toured the valleys; up hill and down dale; and struggled to find anything as cosy as your little spot right here. Enjoy it and expect us back often until we find our own spot!

Enjoyed our short stay.

The area is impressive and although the north wind was cold, we did have blue sky and clear viz to get the best of the amazing views.
El Chorro was a real treat and all in all rounded off our Spanish sojourn perfectly.

Apartment superb. Very high standard.

A very relaxing stay. Thanks for preparing the swimming pool after a nice run in the Andalucian Hills. Great location to start touring around to El Torcal, El Chorro, Fuente de Piedra, Granada, Ronda, Cordoba etc. Good hints to enjoy local festivities.

"En echte aanrader" to say it in Flemish.

Once more thanks for your hospitality. We will for sure recommend you, so be prepared for a Flemish invasion.

The location,views,pool,bar and accomodation make it the perfect place to chill.

All day with the pool to ourselves oh and Mutley of course who kept us amused all week,he is the best dog ever.

Thank you for a wonderful, relaxing week. Nothing has been too much trouble and your advice on trips to the Lakes have been excellent, we would never have taken the Gobantes road and never the right turn to the view of the three lakes. The house is perfect - airconditioning, the bathroom, the pool with its views. I was dubious about the Bar before coming, but it is a fantastic addition to the holiday, sitting by the pool and getting a cold beer (and gin and tonic!!) from the fridge. Thank you again, D and L

We came looking for a quiet, secluded and relaxing holiday in a beautiful location. We got all of these here and a little more (in the shape of a small dog called Mutley).

Weather was perfect, dinner on arrival was much appreciated, as was the welcome pack.

The pool area gave us everything we needed and the sun setting outside of our door made for lovely evenings.

Had a wonderful week here - Exactly what we wanted for a relaxing Autumn holiday. Lovely views (even when it rained!) in a stunning location.

Loved the pool and the hot tub, and the bar is a great idea! Couldn’t have asked for better hosts- generous, friendly and helpful - the welcome pack was much appreciated, and the sandwiches you made us when we arrived late were a life saver! Youve done a wonderful job building a beautiful Villa - we’ll certainly be recommending it to friends and family - and we wish you and Mutley(the cutest dog we’ve ever met) all the best for the future.

An excellent week, lovely well equipped apartment, stunning views, very considerate hosts - all we had hoped for. Very good excursions to Sevilla, Antequera, Ronda, Nerja, El Torcal, the lakes. Thanks very much for wonderful accommodation. The weather has been superb for the 4 days - 20° - ideal for climbing. Climbing above the village and in El Chorro has been fantastic. Visited Antequera again during Siesta time, so it was quiet and we could appreciate the architecture of the town. Well worth a second visit.
